How we rank
We give each tier a score: S is 5, A is 4, B is 3, C is 2 and D is 1. Gamerch uses an SS tier. We count it as S, because the other two sources have no SS. Then we take the median score for each Vision.
Sephiroth has only two scores, so we use their average (4.5) and put him in S. Inside a tier, names are in alphabetical order. We do not rank them further.
- Areajugones, by Cristian M. Villa (Spanish), 2026-10-20. Review written after the author finished the game (pre-release review build).
- GeekyInc, by Devon Lambert (English), 2026-09-24. Pre-launch prediction based on the demo and trailers. The author says it will be re-rated at launch.
- Gamerch FF Resonance Wiki (Japanese), 2026-10-22. SS is counted as S, because the other two sources have no SS.

By the median of three public tier lists, the S tier is Ayaka, Onion Knight, Shantotto and Terra. Sephiroth is also S, but only two sources rate him.
